Bal, working as a customer service representative at a private company, was injured in the explosion as she drove by the exploding bomb in a car. She was immediately taken to the Okmeydan Research and Training Hospital, where she underwent an operation. Her family is still waiting for her to recover, but doctors have said her health situation remains critical.
